Kodi dissappeared

Hi hoping someone can help, I got a fully loaded firestick. Yesterday we went out and it was left on, when we got home the kodi app had dissapeared from the fire starter menu. It isnt in the managed installed apps either. Theres an option to update it, it downloads but then wont install. If I go through es file Explorer I can download kodi but again it wont install. When I click show hidden files and search kodi it comes up with files for the addon and stuff that we had on kodi but doesnt come up with the kodi app. Anyone any ideas how I can find it? It's driving me crazy. Thanks
